Seedance 2.5 Pricing: What 5- and 10-Second Videos Cost
A practical Seedance 2.5 budget at 480p, 720p and 1080p, with APIMaster prices checked on November 5, 2026.

At the APIMaster rates we checked on November 5, a five-second Seedance 2.5 video budgets at about $0.49 in 480p, $1.09 in 720p or $2.69 in 1080p. Pick the resolution before comparing suppliers: it changes the bill much more than a five-percent route discount.
These are text-to-video output estimates without reference-video input. We used the lowest listed public rate for each resolution, across five active public routes. This site directs readers to APIMaster; the public pricing source is linked below.

All amounts are USD. The reference is the configured APIMaster marketplace reference, not an independently verified ByteDance retail quote. The checked lowest rates are 5.28% below those references.
| Resolution | Reference / second | APIMaster / second | Five seconds | Ten seconds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 480p | $0.1028 | $0.09737216 | $0.4869 | $0.9737 |
| 720p | $0.23112 | $0.218916864 | $1.0946 | $2.1892 |
| 1080p | $0.56862 | $0.538596864 | $2.6930 | $5.3860 |
These totals are rate-times-duration calculations. Your selected route, supported settings and actual billed duration still matter. Check the current 2.5 card on APIMaster before starting a batch.
A realistic budget includes attempts
Suppose you want ten finished five-second clips. If every first attempt is usable, 720p generation budgets at $10.95. If you make three attempts per keeper, the same project budgets at $32.84. Neither number predicts how many attempts your brief will need; they simply make that assumption visible.
That is why the cost per accepted clip is more useful than the cost of one submission. Keep a small record of attempts, completed outputs and the clips you actually use. A cheap request that does not meet the brief is still part of the production cost.
For early composition checks, a lower resolution may be enough. For a delivery that requires detail, inspect a finished higher-resolution sample before committing the full batch. We have not run a controlled resolution or quality test for this guide.
Why can another site show a very different price?
Some pages quote a starting resolution. Some quote an approximate second of output even though the bill uses video tokens. Some display a temporary promotion. Adding reference video can also change the billing basis.
For example, fal publishes an approximate 720p 2.5 rate of $0.4730 per second, while its token formula gives a slightly different total for a specific 1280×720 clip. That difference is explained in our fal guide. It should not be hidden inside an oversized discount claim.
When does it make sense to use another Seedance version?
If the brief does not require 2.5, compare the alternatives before changing providers. APIMaster's checked 720p rates were $0.14321664 for 2.0, $0.072503424 for Fast and $0.0376488 for Mini. The smaller bill is clear; the creative tradeoff has to be tested on your material.
Read Fast versus Mini for a low-budget test plan, or the provider price overview if you already know which version you need.
