Seedance Content-Filter Errors: Read the Error Before Retrying

Distinguish text moderation, parameter failures, access errors and unknown submission states in Seedance video workflows.

A failed Seedance request is not automatically a content-filter rejection. The response might identify an unsupported parameter, missing access or a timeout while the job is still being accepted. These cases need different handling.

One error we have documented is InputTextSensitiveContentDetected. It explicitly points to text moderation. It does not, by itself, establish that the account is banned, the wallet is empty or every part of the request is invalid.

Start with the response you actually received

Save the error code, message, request ID and any task ID. Keep credentials and private media out of shared logs. If the provider gives an explicit reason, use that evidence before guessing from an HTTP status or a generic “generation failed” screen.

Evidence What it suggests Appropriate next step
InputTextSensitiveContentDetected Explicit text moderation rejection Review the content policy; contact support if a compliant request appears incorrectly rejected
Unsupported field or value Request schema or model capability mismatch Compare the body with that endpoint's current documentation
Authentication or access error Key, permissions or endpoint availability issue Verify account access without exposing the key
Timeout without a clear receipt Acceptance is unknown Find the original task before submitting again
Accepted task ID, no final result yet Asynchronous task still needs checking Poll the documented status endpoint

Error wording varies by provider. This table is a reading guide, not a claim that every supplier uses the same codes.

Accepted does not mean completed

In APIMaster's standard video workflow, you submit to POST /v1/videos/generations and query a received ID through GET /v1/videos/{task_id}. A successful submission response is not the finished video.

If the client loses the response, repeatedly pressing Generate may create additional jobs. First check the original receipt, task list or provider support channel. Preserve the distinction between “rejected,” “still processing” and “I do not know whether it was accepted.”

The bill also needs evidence. A timeout alone does not prove there was no charge, and a rejection message alone does not establish a universal refund policy. Check the task and usage record under the provider's terms.

Why an uncensored label does not settle the diagnosis

The word may describe an additional platform filter, while the model, input-media pipeline or upstream service has its own rules. A separately named product can also have different technical limits. Do not treat a restriction error as proof that a provider secretly changed versions, or an “NSFW” model name as proof that everything must pass.

Our November 5, 2026 check found no public APIMaster offers for the four NSFW-named Seedance IDs. We do not recommend switching to an unverified model as a fix. See the terminology guide and API access checklist for the current scope.

What to send support

Send the provider the request ID, task ID, approximate submission time and the smallest non-secret description needed to reproduce the issue. For a suspected false positive, state the legitimate intended use and ask which policy applies. Do not share API keys or someone else's private reference media in a public support thread.

For ordinary generation, check standard Seedance routes on APIMaster. Route selection is not a promise that a rejected request will become permitted.

Sources and scope

Based on documented APIMaster standard video task behavior and the observed text-rejection code; public access rechecked through the marketplace query on November 5, 2026. Supplier policy context: Siray and Segmind. No paid requests or filter-bypass tests were performed.

Follow applicable law and provider rules. Content involving minors or child sexual abuse is prohibited. “Uncensored” is not permission to submit illegal material.
